About Me

I spend my time making espresso with the best machine, reading books, and watching interesting YouTube and TikTok videos. Often enough, I'm out and about with lovely wife and daughter in search of arboretums, coffee, and good eats!

We love spending time up at Lake Arrowhead, and the girls especially enjoy going to the beach — even if it’s not my favorite place. We also love to travel, though we only do so using credit card points and miles.

I cannot draw beautiful landscapes or detailed portraits, and I am no poet — but I can write some pretty hilarious jokes.

While I teach at three colleges, my greatest students are the guys at the California Institution for Men (CIM). Contact me if you are interested in volunteering, teaching, or working with this population. I assure you, the effort invested in restorative justice is worthwhile. These guys will influence your life more than you will influence theirs.​
